Privacy Notice

This notice explains how personal data is processed by TKN Group under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1. Data controller

2. Categories of data

• Identity: first and last name
• Contact: email address, phone number, country and city
• Professional details: company name, job title
• Enquiry data: request type, product of interest, project type, location and size, message content, files you attach
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, server logs

Please do not send us special categories of data (health, religion, trade union membership and similar) — our forms never ask for them.

3. Purposes

• Responding to quotation, dealership, export and technical support requests
• Providing information about our products and services and communicating with you
• Managing sales and after-sales processes
• Customer relationship management and business planning
• Information security, prevention of abuse and spam
• Complying with legal obligations and establishing evidence in possible disputes

4. Legal bases

• Contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c; GDPR art. 6/1-b) — quotation and order processes
• Legal obligation (KVKK art. 5/2-ç; GDPR art. 6/1-c) — tax and commercial legislation
• Legal claims (KVKK art. 5/2-e; GDPR art. 6/1-f) — defence in the event of a dispute
• Legitimate interests (KVKK art. 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6/1-f) — security, record keeping, managing enquiries
• Consent (KVKK art. 5/1; GDPR art. 6/1-a) — non-essential cookies and commercial electronic messages. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Recipients and transfers

Data may be shared, limited to the purposes above, with our hosting and email providers, accounting and legal advisers, the relevant business partner where your request concerns dealership or export, and with public authorities where legally required. We never sell your data.

Our servers are located in Türkiye and/or the European Union. Where an international transfer is necessary, we apply the safeguards required by KVKK art. 9 and GDPR Chapter V.

6. Retention

Data is retained for as long as the processing purpose requires and until the applicable statutory limitation periods expire (as a rule, 10 years). Server and security logs are deleted after 90 days; enquiry forms that do not result in a business relationship after 2 years.

7. Your rights

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about the processing, to learn its purpose and whether the data is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom data is transferred at home or abroad, to request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to request that such actions be notified to third parties, to object to a result arising from analysis solely by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Visitors in the EU additionally have the rights to restriction of processing and to data portability.

8. How to exercise your rights

Send your request in writing to the address above or by email to info@tkngroup.com.tr. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, in the EU, with your local supervisory authority.
