Frequently Asked Questions

What is the warranty period of your products?

Our bioclimatic systems carry a 5-year motor and 2-year mechanical warranty. For other product groups, please contact our team.

What are your maximum production dimensions?

Scissor Bioclimatic reaches 700 cm façade per module and up to 1531 cm projection in multi-module setups; Guillotinum systems go up to 4000×3500 mm. Our technical team engineers project-specific sizes from the measurements you provide.

How do shipping and assembly work?

All systems are packed ready-to-install and shipped domestically and abroad with assembly documentation. Ready-to-install packaging reduces transport damage and speeds up installation.

How can I become a dealer?

Simply submit the form on our Partnership page with the "Dealership" request type. Our team evaluates your region and business model, then returns with training, documentation and supply terms.

How does the quotation process work?

After you submit the quote form, our team contacts you about project dimensions and needs; system selection, technical drawings and pricing are prepared from the measurements you provide.

What colour and fabric options are available?

Aluminium profiles come in all RAL colours plus textured and exclusive finishes. Awnings use UV-resistant acrylic, polyester and PVC fabrics; pergolas use fire-retardant (FR) blackout fabric.

Which motor brands do you use?

We offer Somfy, Mosel and Cuppon motors and controls; remotes, sensors and smartphone integration are configured per project.

Do you export internationally?

Yes — we export to 72 countries. With ready-to-install packing and technical documentation, our export team manages international supply end to end.

What determines the price of a bioclimatic pergola?

Bioclimatic pergola pricing depends on size (width × projection), louvre type (rotating or fully retractable rolling roof), motorisation and automation, LED lighting, side enclosures such as zip screens or guillotine glass, and installation conditions. As the manufacturer we engineer each project to measure and quote without middleman costs.

Should I choose a winter garden or a bioclimatic pergola?

A winter garden is glazed and fixed — it turns the space into an enclosed room year-round. A bioclimatic pergola is flexible: louvres open for summer and close for weather protection. Choose a winter garden (glass roof + guillotine glass) for room-like use all year, or a bioclimatic pergola for open-closed flexibility. We also engineer projects that combine both.

How wind-resistant is a zip screen?

Because the fabric is tensioned inside zipped side rails, a zip screen withstands high wind speeds without billowing. With a wind sensor added to motorised systems, the screen retracts automatically in strong wind. It is the safest vertical enclosure for seafront and high-rise applications.

What is the difference between guillotine glass and folding glass?

Folding glass stacks its panels to the side, leaving a block of glass at the edge when open. Guillotine glass lowers panes vertically over each other by motor, opening the façade with no divisions and an uninterrupted view. That is why restaurants, cafés and view terraces prefer guillotine glass; double-glazed options provide full insulation in winter.

Where can a retractable roof system be installed?

Retractable (rolling) roofs suit restaurant and café terraces, hotel poolsides and gardens, mall dining areas, villa terraces and winter gardens. Wide spans are bridged with intermediate columns; rain drainage, LED lighting, heaters and zip screen integration are added per project.

Do you provide installation? How are products delivered?

TKN Group is a manufacturer and exporter; we do not provide installation services. Systems are assembled and tested at the factory, then packed ready to install; installation is carried out by your dealer or local team following detailed technical documentation. We provide remote technical support to installation teams when needed. We ship across Türkiye and to 72 countries.
